Ego

A companion that remembers, and texts you first.

How did it go?

Nobody prompted the second message. Ego kept the thread and came back when it mattered.

What it is

Ego lives in your messages. You text it like a friend. It notices the things in your life that have a "how did it go" attached, remembers them, and checks back later, inside your quiet hours and never more than a couple of times a day. It reads photos you send, can look things up when you ask, can draw you a picture, and has a voice of its own that you can name.

It is honest about what it can't do yet: it does not run errands or set your calendar. When it doesn't know something, it says so.

Everything Ego is holding onto is visible to you on a private page, with the reason for every message it sent or chose not to send. Text DELETE MY DATA and it is gone.

Founder alpha

What you get: your own Ego, texting you at your number, for the whole alpha. What it costs: a $20 deposit, refunded on request at any point during the alpha, no questions. It exists so the hundred seats go to people who will actually text back.

You need an Android phone with Google Messages and RCS chats turned on (that is the default on most phones sold in the last few years). We check your number before you pay. US numbers for now.
